Learning sessions for key stage 4

Discover curriculum-linked learning sessions

Inspire your students with a curriculum-linked learning session that will challenge their preconceptions and engage them with the natural world.

Please note: key stage 4 education sessions are available to book from September - March.

KS4 Educational Sessions

New! Ecosystems

Explore the different biomes we have here at Bristol Zoo Project and learn about some of the key aspects of ecosystems. Students will be taken around the zoo and work in small groups to identify different features of our habitats such as biotic and abiotic features, interactions between species and how humans have affected similar ecosystems.

Subjects covered:

· Interdependence of organisms

· How organisms are affected by their environment

· How species are adapted for their environment

Team challenge

Kick off the academic year on the right foot, with a series of team building challenges for your group that will help develop positive relationships, build social and communication skills and grow confidence!

Which team will be the first across the ‘river’, stepping only on ‘rocks’?! And which team can make the best mini-raft? Please note activities are subject to change depending on the age and ability of the group.
