Please note, these prices are only applicable during term time for education visits. For school group visits outside of term time, our group rate applies.
Admission cost
Peak (visits between 15 Feb and 3 Nov): £8.50 per student
Off-peak (visits between 4 Nov - 14 Feb): £6.50 per student
Admission includes access to animal talks and learning resources for your visit.
Taught education session pricing
The cost of education sessions is in addition to admission cost.
£42 for one education session (up to 20 students)
£20 for any additional education sessions
Please note:
Our education sessions are capped at 20 students. We teach in smaller groups to ensure all students can participate fully in our active, hands-on sessions. For a standard class of 30, we split the class into two groups and deliver two sessions, at a cost of £62.
Education sessions are available to book Tuesday – Thursday inclusive.
Free adult ratios, and additional adults
Please note children under 15 must be supervised at all times.
1:3 for EYFS (early years foundation stage) and year 1
1:7 for year 2 and above
1:1 Carers/LSAs*
£11 per additional adult
*Please bring proof of the need for 1:1 support on the day of your visit. This can be a headed letter from the school.
Key information
Arrival slots from 10am onwards are available (book in advance to secure your preferred date and time slot).
If any of your group are members of Bristol Zoo Project, and therefore enjoy free entry, they will need to bring proof of membership on the day.
To ensure that everyone has the space to enjoy Bristol Zoo Project safely, we ask that you split into small groups when you are exploring. Children under 15 must be supervised at all times.

Group prices
Our education prices apply during term time only. For educational visits during holidays, groups of 10 or more will benefit from our group prices, which offer up to 15% off standard admission prices.
